Eventbrite is a global ticketing and event technology platform that allows event organisers to plan, promote, and sell tickets to events. All ETF events are free of charge.
We fully respect your right to privacy when using our services. Here you will find details of our privacy practices and what we do to maintain your right to privacy.
What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you and your organisation when you register to attend our events via Eventbrite. We only collect the information we ask from you, that you give us and you consent to it being processed for the purpose of contacting you with information regarding the event you are registering to attend.
How will we use the information we collect?
We process your information for the purpose of providing you with information regarding the event you are registering to attend.
This includes some or all of the following:
ETF may share the information we collect with:
Venues we are hosting our events with. This would only happen where delegates have requested special diets and highlighted mobility/access issues. We only share the names of people with such requests in order to allow us to make reasonable adjustments to ensure these requirements are met.
We may also disclose the information to a third party where we have a legal obligation to do so. ETF will not share with or sell your personal information to any other organisation.
How do we look after your information?
The information we collect about you and your organisation is stored on Eventbrite. ETF keeps a copy of this data on our secure servers. This information is stored and maintained for up to a year to enable post event contact.
Eventbrite is hosted on a secure server by a third party in the USA in accordance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework, and the relevant data is maintained by NHS Health Scotland staff.
The principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) require us to make sure your data is accurate, kept up-to-date and that we keep it for no longer than is necessary.
