Sleep in the Park

It will soon be time for the “World’s largest ever sleep out event” which has been listed as the ‘Live Aid for Scottish homelessness’. The event will take place on Friday 9th December, Princes Street Gardens and is being organised by Josh Littlejohn, co-founder of Social Bite, which assists homeless folk through cafes, restaurants and fundraising events, providing them with warmth and resources. You can find out more about Sleep in the Park by clicking here.

Betty Stevenson, Sheila Rutherford-McCallum, Mark Henry and Clare McGillivray from Team ETF is raising funds to end homelessness in Scotland by sleeping out on a cold winters night as part of Sleep in the Park. We believe that:

  • The right to adequate housing is a basic human right
  • That no one should be homeless
  • That all of us in Scotland have a role to play in helping to end homelessness.
